Had a super day today. Got up late, ate a good breakfast, and then the four of us took off to the Glacier Park. There are two entrances in to the park here and we went in both of them. The first one we were not far in it and we saw a bear and her cub near the road in the woods. They were walking along and they scared up a deer that scared the Momma bear who stood up on her hind legs and looked around, and the cub ran up a tree. I'm sure Amy got some good photo's of that. Will get some on the blog soon. Continued on in the park and the mountains and the glaciers on them were breath taking. Saw some deer, some Goats, but no Moose, or Elk. The picture post card view all around you was the best I have ever seen.
We came back around 1300 and went to the resturaunt here for lunch. Well, their special was fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, and a bisket. So we decided to eat Lupper. The food was fabulous. It was surved family style, with soup first, the platters of the other stuff after the home made soup. The meal was one of the best I've eaten. Kinda spendy, but good. After all we are in a very busy visitor place, just no visitors here yet to amount to.
Amy is doing a load of cloths or two here as the washing machines are $.75 a wash, and we had been paying $2.00 per load, so we'll have a little ahead for clean clothes.
Plan to leave here in the morning and go up Rt 89 to Canada and go in there. It turns in to Canada Rt 2 and we'll continure on up there till we hit the main road in to Calgary and spend the night just north of there. Might stay there a couple days. Depends on what is there to see..
The brakes sure got set in coming in here. I pulled in and they were smoking and smelling. I guess I got the new linnings set to the rotors now. Will use the motor to slow me down more from now on on those long steep hills.
We have to bring the computers to the office and plug them in here to use the internet. Bob and I are both here now sending our Blogs. Wonder what he's saying about me???? He'll never tell.
