Hi All: Woke up this morning and it was a little cool. 45 degrees. The weather channel said it would only be in the 50's. They lie.

We are at a campground right next to the Chena River that runs thru Fairbanks. Was going to go around in Bob's car this morning, but when he started it up the Alternator light was on, so we took the Saturn instead. Bob has a spare alternator for his VW so he's in good shape. It might have been the water he sprayed over the engine to get all the dust out of there. It sure collects there when we travel those dusty roads.

We went to the North Pole and visited (Guess what??) A Christmas House!!! Wonders of Wonders, I had so much fun it was hard to keep me quiet??. Amy and Dorene were REALLY happy it seemed as they bought one of everything I think?? It was nice and it was also nice to see it in the rear view mirror. Hee Hee.

We then went to the Knotty Store down the road a ways. It is a place that makes things out of wood that has been hurt and the tree grew Knotty. Had a lot of neat stuff, but I looked at a new cane for $80.00, and I ran out of there fast. Did buy an ice cream cone for $3, so I didn't get away scott free. Amy was able to find some more stuff to buy.

We then decided to find the RV store, as Bob needed a new TV antenna for his Motorhome. He had been having trouble getting TV signal from regular TV since he bought his Motor Home. He took the Bat Wing antenna off the other day and he had thought it was a Non-Amplified antenna. I saw an amplifier board inside the antenna, so he wanted to get a new one. Sure hope it works. The RV parts place had one for $125.00. Seems that Motor Homes are big holes we keep shoveling money in to... WE also found a WalMart, so we went in there. Amy got some stuff, and some food stuff. Needed some vegies, but their Produce department wasn't even open yet. New store. WE then took a new route home from there, and I am now in the Motor Home having the 5 O'Clock toddy. WE did buy a WalMart Pizza for supper too, so we are ready for the night..

Tomorrow we plan on going on a Train trip to a Gold Mine and try to pan for some gold. Sure need some after Amy's shopping trip today...
