Hi: We left Fairbanks at about 1000 this morning for Denali National Park. Got here about 1230 with no trouble on the way. I did have trouble with the step when I was setting up the motor home up as the steps would not retract. Got under and could not find any thing wrong, but the motor was not getting any voltage. I unhooked the apparatas that extends and retracts the step and the motor started to work. Re-Hooked it up and it works just fine. Must have been in a bind or something. I may have stepped on the steps before they were fully extended. Not supposed to do that.
We drove to the Park area where you sign up for tours and have one leaving in the morning at 0730. Bob and I wanted 9 or 10, but were voted out for 0730. The tour is 8 hours and it's another bus tour of the park. Not sure if we will get to see Mount McKinley or not as the weather controls that, and it is only visible about 20% of the time they say due to rain clouds, or just clouds. Hope it's clear tomorrow.
It did rain pretty good when we were all hooked up, but has cleared up and is nice now. About 67 out now and nice.
I got my notification from On Star today on the Internet and it showed my phone minutes of 201 minutes had expired on 15 June. I got on the On Star from the car and they reinstated the minutes for me for a full year from now, plus they gave me 210 minutes. 9 more than I lost. They said this happens sometimes and since I'm a good customer they will do this, but for me to please watch my expiration dates in the future...Nice of them??
Well, not much to write about today. Oh yea, Amy is catching a cold. Now I suppose I'll be getting it too.. I hate that..!!!
