13 July #2

Hi Again:
Bob is no better yet and looks like he's not going to get much better and the hospital here just said to drink water till it passes and take pain pills.

Soooo. We plan to leave in the morning heading for the good ole USA. Dorene is going to do the driving. From what I saw of her driving yesterday there should be no problems. She's a little worried about the close quarters on that one bridge, but maybe Bob will be up to taking it across there. I feel she could do that too. I guess he can pass the thing as we drive on the road since they won't do anything here at this hospital. Dorene has a couple home remedies she plans to try, but she has to get Bob to drink more liquid. Seems he sleeps a lot from the pain pills and then don't drink. He just has to drink or the stone will cause damage to the kidney I think. Might have to hook up that hose to him Amy talked about and force the water in to him.

Any way as it stands now we will take off tomorrow morning for Watson Lake, Yukon. It's about 1800 miles to Seattle from here, so we have a long way to go. Wish us luck.
Above is a photo of the single lane bridge. About 10 inches clearance on each side of the Motor Home.. I'm sure Dorene won't have any trouble. Can go slow...
