Hi All: I got the Motor Home all washed today. Boy was it dirty. Left quite a ring around the spot we are parked in. I was surprised the campground allowed us to wash the rigs as we are in the desert, and I thought water may be short in supply. Apparently not.
The knee was talking to me after crawling all over the rig washing it, so let it rest the rest of the day. Amy did laundry and worked at cleaning up the inside of the rig most of the day. We went out for dinner as it's to hot to cook in the motor home. The AC has to work at it's maximum all day to keep it livable inside. It got up to 107 today, but does cool down to 73 in the morning. The weather man says it's going to be 112 in Phoenix this weekend, and we leave Friday for there. Will be there 5 days, and if I recall there are no trees at the Cotton Lane Campground. It's like a lot of other camping places, just like a big parking lot with no trees, and places full of rigs. I suspect there may not be to many rigs this time of year there. There were few of them last time we were here with Jay and Lou in 2001....
Amy had a phone number from her Uncle Donnie Harrison of some relatives that live near here and run an attraction called "Out Of Africa". We saw where the attraction is, and Amy tried to call the number but it has been disconnected. We plan to go visit the attraction tomorrow. Might be able to find the relatives there. They are the family of Amy's Grandfather Harrison's Brother we understand..
We went out for dinner last night. Had a big time at Pizza Hut... Hadn't had one of their pizza's in a while. It was good. To hot to cook in the Motor home.....
We plan to go sight seeing tomorrow. There are about 5 wineries here. Might check out one of those or two....Also going to see "Out Of Africa".....
